Frank & Barbara Stevens
The renovation of this 100+ year old farmhouse was the culmination of a dream for Frank Stevens, who had always wanted to design his own home. Working with Bauen, he planned and designed a substantial addition to his home which also included the renovating and redecorating of many of the existing areas within the farmhouse.
The interior of the home features a number of customized finishes which were selected during the many work
sessions between Bauen and the client. The placement of the rear windows and decks takes full advantage of the spectacular views of Squam Lake and the mountains beyond.
Through the use of construction management, the project was constructed as plans were being developed and allowed the client to make changes in a more efficient and cost effective manner.
